A giclée print is an extremely high resolution print, produced from many colors of fade-resistant pigment ink. It results in a museum-quality, archival print that will give a lifetime of vivid beauty.
Everything we produce is a giclée (also spelled giclee) print, no matter which paper or canvas you select.
The ink and the paper make the difference. Giclée printing uses pigment ink—ink that has a fine powder of solid colorant (the pigment) suspended in a liquid.
Those pigments are extremely resistant to fading and can produce a broad range of extremely vivid colors.
Giclee prints must be produced on acid-free, non-yellowing, archival papers or canvases, so they look gorgeous over the decades.
All of our premium papers and canvases are all name-brand, acid-free, museum-quality, 100% cotton or alpha-cellulose papers, or acid-free poly-cotton fabric canvas.
