First and most important: You MUST ONLY upload images to IndigoImageLab.com for which you own the copyright, or for which you have explicit permission from the copyright holder to print. Indigo Image Lab, Inc. will respond to DMCA takedown notices and remove, destroy, and cease to continue to print work that constitutes copyright infringement.
When we receive an image from a customer to print, we have no way of verifying that the person who uploaded the image holds the copyright or possesses permission to reprint the image from the copyright holder. In the absence of any "red flags" or evidence that the work was submitted in violation of copyright, we will print the work.
Note: The fact that a print looks "professional" or that appears to be of "professional quality" or that "looks like it was taken by a professional" or some other sentiment that indicates that the photograph is of superior quality does not automatically and in and of itself cause us to suspect copyright infringement. We print images taken by a variety of people with a variety of artistic skill. Many of the images we print are of gorgeous professional quality and were originally composed and taken by the individuals who upload the images and who hold copyright to those images.
We depend on you to notify us of any copyright infringement.
If you believe that we have received and/or printed work which constitutes a violation of copyright, please send us a letter in writing to:
